The Coffee Shop is launching a “Traybake of the Week”, kicking off with a delicious chocolate brownie made by the talented Sharon from Lillian’s Kitchen in Ide Hill.

Each slice is homemade and guaranteed free from ultra-processed ingredients, offering a simple, quality bake made the traditional way.

Who Makes the Brownies?

Sharon of Lillian’s Kitchen is known locally for her wholesome, homemade baking. Using straightforward ingredients and traditional methods, her brownies are rich, satisfying and full of flavour.

It’s another example of the shop’s commitment to supporting local producers and keeping things close to home.

Run entirely by volunteers, Ide Hill Community Shop & Post Office with Café is at the heart of the village community. With stunning views across Bough Beech and the surrounding countryside, it’s a welcoming spot for both locals and visitors.

Alongside the café and post office services, the shop stocks seasonal local fruit and veg, quality convenience groceries, gifts, cards and produce from Kent suppliers including Hinxden Dairy, Kentish Mayde Pies and Biddenden Wine.
