Spring is taking hold at Oast Wood near Tenterden. The pruning is finished, the rows are tied down, and the vineyard is beginning to move again after the winter months. The woods around the vines are filling with bluebells, and the clear spring light makes this one of the loveliest moments to walk the vineyard before the canopy closes in for the growing season.
In
the cellar door we’re pouring wines that suit the turn of the season. Luna’s
Bacchus is bright and aromatic, with lively citrus and hedgerow character
making it perfect with fresh spring dishes like asparagus, grilled fish or
young cheeses. Alongside it you’ll find Flock, our textured skin-contact wine,
and Divico, a fresh, fruit-driven cool-climate red.
From Easter we’re welcoming visitors again for vineyard tours and tastings. Come and walk the vines, hear how we farm and make our wines, and taste the current range at the cellar door.
