We run a number of different workshops and retreats at Green Farm focusing on Art and Wildlife Gardening, presented by our community wildlife vegetable garden creator and manager, Catherine Farr.
The Courses
Weekly Art Class
Every Monday from 11th February 2018
6pm - 8pm: £10 per person
Join us in a friendly and supportive art class for all abilities. Bring a piece of work that you want to make or let Catherine guide you through the formal elements of creating art work.
Private Classes
By Arrangement
Come along for 1 1/2 hours of drawing or painting in our hay barn under the expert tuition of Catherine Farr. £65 Up to 2 people.
Drawing in the Wildlife Garden
Next date TBD from 10am to 3pm, including lunch: £40 per person
You will get an introduction to drawing by experimenting with different materials and you will leave with your own interpretation of our wonderful wildlife garden
Wildlife Gardening
2019 dates coming soon
Forget weedkiller, pesticides and other chemicals and learn how to work with nature to create you own flower and vegetable garden that encourages abundant wildlife. You could leave with your own mini-wildlife garden in a seed tray. If you are a group and you would like to have your own private workshop, please contact us.
Colour in the Countryside
10am to 3pm, including lunch: £40 per person
You will get an understanding of using acrylic paint and how to compose a painting from observation. You will leave with your own colour composition of our wonderful wildlife garden
Weekend Art Retreat
Friday 10th to Sunday12th May 2019. From £395 per person
