What we're pouring, pairing and proudly producing at Brabourne Vineyard

With grapes ripening on the vine and warm evenings drawing guests to our tasting room, August is a brilliant time to explore the Brabourne wine list.

From sparkling to still, vermouth to rosé – each bottle tells its own seasonal story.

"Our wines really are led by the fruit," says Hester Fenwick. "Some years the grapes call out for still wines, others for something bubbly – we let the vineyard guide us."

Right now, we’re loving our 2020 Blanc de Noirs – full of soft fruit and a touch of toastiness, perfect with a summer cheeseboard. For something lighter, the 2023 Albermarle Chardonnay is all green apple and lemon – ideal for sunny sipping. And if you’re feeling adventurous, our small-batch white Vermouth is made for cocktail hour with a twist of lime and basil.

All of our wines are made using traditional methods, hand-picked grapes, and gentle pressing at the nearby Oxney Estate. Every bottle reflects the work of the land – and the people – that shaped it.

Pop by for a glass in the sun, or take a few bottles home for your own summer celebrations.

The joy of a small vineyard is that much of the work can be done by hand, by the family.
