What's in Season at your local Farmers' Market?
Farmers markets offer customers the opportunity to consider the seasons when choosing what to buy.
Farmers Markets offer a great opportunity to do this - not purely fruit and vegetables but also fish, game etc. whilst at the same time reducing food miles.
Fruit and vegetables in season at present include locally grown strawberries and asparagus with the soft fruit season due to start soon too.
Our Farmers Markets offer a lovely range of seasonal products and the dates of the farmers markets for the coming month are :
Chislehurst - 3rd Sunday of the month - next date: Sunday 21 May 10 - 2
West Malling - 4th Sunday of the month - next date: Sunday 28th May 9.30 - 1.30
Hall Place - 1st Sunday of the month - next date: Sunday 4th June 10 - 2
Lenham - 2nd Sunday of the month - next date: Sunday 11th June 9 - 1
