White Horse Wine Tours Visits: Warehorne Vineyard

Panoramic views across Romney Marsh and award winning still reds at this family run Kent vineyard

A visit to Warehorne Vineyard is part of the signature tour with White Horse Wine Tours. Planted in May 2020 in the village of Warehorne, the family owned vineyard spans 10.2 hectares with panoramic views across Romney Marsh, with Dungeness Power Station and the Rye Park Wind Farm visible from the top of the site on a clear day.

The vineyard grows Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Divico and Cabernet Noir, and has built a fantastic reputation for its still red, white and rosé wines. A rarity for an English vineyard, where reds in particular can be hard to get right. Its Oasthouse Pinot Noir has already picked up recognition in the WineGB awards and was shortlisted in the Kent Wine of the Year category at the Taste of Kent Awards, a strong showing for a vineyard that only released its first vintage in 2023.

Guests visiting Warehorne as part of a White Horse Wine Tours day can expect a guided tasting of four of these wines, paired with a cheese or charcuterie board, with a vegan option always available. Plus, the chance to walk through the vines, learning about the craft behind the wines from those who make them.

To add Warehorne Vineyard to your Kent wine itinerary, book a tour with White Horse Wine Tours.
