Kin Coffee Shop

Whether it's grabbing a quick coffee and pastry, enjoying a spot of lunch or joining us on one of our evening events ! We are also proud winners of The Taste of Kent Awards - Kent Cafe, Coffee Shop or Tearoom of the Year 2024.

Why? Here's some of what we do:

All the coffee for the coffee shop is roasted in-house using beans that are predominantly directly sourced from one of the most sustainable coffee farms in Brazil. Through our direct trade relationship, we’ve visited the farms ourselves to ensure quality, sustainability, and ethical sourcing at every stage. Alongside our coffee, we serve locally produced toasted banana bread (Golden Flower Bakery) with butter, cakes and cookies as well as a range of sourdough toasties and bagels (Colt Bagel) with fillings and brunch specials.
Our coffees are available ground and whole bean from the shop in refillable 'KIN Tins' or eco friendly coffee bags #closedloop
We use the best quality local full-fat and skinny milk from Hinxden Farm Dairy plus have a range of alternative milks to choose from at no extra cost.

We diligently source locally, ethically and with quality in mind , whether it is bacon (Paley Farm) or compostable cups! (Decent Packaging)

We serve a selection of delicious foods (produced using local suppliers where possible) with a substantial number of vegan options and low-gluten alternatives, which can be enjoyed to the backdrop of chilled music, sitting on our #reloved furniture such as the coffee sack bench and new high table reclaimed from @nationalgallery

We will shortly be launching our new summer evening sessions with local beer on tap and local food trucks!.
