Kin Coffee Extends Roast Days Following Popular Demand

From now on, you will have a chance to catch their roaster live in action from Monday to Wednesday, with customers invited to pop in and see coffee being roasted live on Kin’s new state-of-the-art Bellwether coffee roaster.

A range of freshly roasted coffees will be on offer, two espresso offerings (think chocolaty vs fruity), as well as decaf, the option of half-caf and an alternating batch brew filter and cold brew. Wholebean and ground coffee is also available to purchase from their zero waste dispensers.

The Bellwether roaster brings a more sustainable approach to coffee roasting, operating on renewable energy and significantly reducing emissions thanks to its advanced filtration system. The move reflects Kin Coffee’s ongoing commitment to quality coffee and environmentally conscious practices. They also source their coffee from a single farm in Brazil which they have visited personally, who were also credited as being the most sustainable coffee farm in Brazil.

During roast days, Kin will operate with opening hours of 8:00am - 1:30pm, serving a "Simple Eats" menu with gut friendly oat and live yoghurt bowls, alongside toasted treats like banana bread and freshly baked pastries.

Customers are encouraged to come along, experience the sights and aromas of coffee roasting, and then relax with a coffee on Kin’s newly upgraded outdoor deck, hopefully with a bit of sunshine included!

Kin will continue to operate seven days a week, with its full brunch and sourdough toastie menu available from Thursday through Sunday.
