Pressed from oilseed rape grown on the estate itself, Morghew's cold pressed rapeseed oil is about as local as it gets. As we move into September, the farmers markets take on a true harvest feel. You’ll start to see hops, apples, game and cobnuts, along with plenty of late‑summer favourites such as cucumbers, tomatoes, new-season potatoes and a wide range of fresh, seasonal produce.

Although each of our farmers markets runs once a month, they take place at different nearby locations on different weeks. This means you can enjoy shopping with our stallholders every week throughout September simply by visiting a different market.

September is the last golden stretch of vineyard season, and there's no better way to mark it than a tour and tasting at Terlingham Vineyard above Folkestone, with the Kent North Downs stretching out behind you and France on the horizon. This harvest season, Wild Box is heading home to Faversham Hop Festival, bringing a taste of Kent to the bar in the Central Car Park. Founded by Laura Taylor in 2019, Wild Box has been championing the very best of Kent-produced spirits, wines and beers ever since. For the Hop Festival, they are keeping things suitably local.
