16th April 2026
Our latest Network And... event took us to the iconic Biddenden Vineyards for an Easter Bunny Hunt with a very grown-up twist - and we could not have asked for a better evening for it.
The sunshine was absolutely stunning, and with bluebells and primroses in full bloom across the vineyard, it made for a truly beautiful backdrop as members, industry partners and guests set off on the hunt together. The format took us around the vines, picking up clues and learning about the wines, the history and the plantings as we went - with quiz questions thrown in along the way. A lot of us were much better at the kids' questions than the ones for grownups!
Tom, Kate and the team made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. After the hunt, we gathered in the newly refurbished tasting room & shop - which is absolutely gorgeous and packed with local produce - for a sharing board piled high with local cheese and charcuterie, and of course a glass of Ortega or Biddies cider. Safe to say the shop itself proved quite the temptation too, and more than a few of us left having spent rather more on wine than planned. We also went home with a goody bag of Biddenden juices.
As always, the conversation flowed. It was a lovely opportunity to catch up, make new connections and enjoy one of Kent's most iconic vineyards in the best possible light - literally.
If you've got little ones and haven't booked a Bunny Hunt yet, there's still one session left this Saturday 18th April. Adults are £17 (including a bottle of wine - not bad!) and children are £8, with juice and a chocolate treat included. Think 90 minutes of countryside fun, bluebells, and happy kids. Book your spot here before it sells out.
A huge thank you to Tom, Kate and the team at Biddenden for their hospitality and for making the evening so memorable. And a special thank you to Roger from Stepstone Imaging for capturing it all so beautifully with his professional photography.
Our Network And... events are for Produced in Kent members and industry partners only. If you'd like to join us at future events, now's the time to get involved.
