Owlet Fruit Juice has been purchased by fifth generation Loddington Farm in Linton.
It’s a fitting move for the award-winning business as the former owner, Colin Corfield, began his fruit-growing career in 1979 at Loddington Farm. Since then, he and his wife Suzie have built up a fantastic reputation for apple, pear and many other blends of fruit juices which are on sale all around the South East of England as well as Greater London.
Loddington Farm is moving towards chemical free farming with plans to roll out a whole regenerative farming strategy which has already begun during the 2020 growing season. Trials have shown how food can be produced using nature rather than chemistry and this ethos will underpin everything that is produced going forward, be it fresh fruit or healthy juices.
Owlet will continue to offer contract pressing and bottling services at its new premises, so if any of these are of interest get in touch via the website or email hello@owletfruitjuice.co.uk.
