Unusual varieties, orchard views, and family-friendly fruit picking from 21st June
Cherry season is nearly here – and Brogdale Farm is inviting you to enjoy a Pick Your Own experience with a difference. Starting Saturday 21st June, visitors can head into the Brogdale Collections orchards at weekends to pick rare and unusual cherry varieties, grown as part of the National Fruit Collection.
This is a great opportunity to explore the orchards, hand-pick delicious fruit, and take home as much as you like – fruit is simply charged by the punnet. Entry to PYO is free for Orchard Pass holders, or you can purchase an Adult Day Pass when you arrive. Children under 16 go free, making it an ideal family day out.
Wander through the trees, discover cherry types you won’t find in the supermarket, and make the most of the short but sweet cherry season.
