Seasonal set menus, live acoustic sessions, and the ultimate Kentish garden party this summer
There’s lots to look forward to this summer at The Pig at Bridge Place – from fresh new menus to laid-back music nights and a big August garden bash. If you love local produce, live music and good food in beautiful surroundings, it’s time to plan your visit.
First up is the brand new Chef’s Picks Set Menu, designed to celebrate the best seasonal ingredients month by month. Priced at £28.50 for two courses, the menu is rooted in the kitchen garden and features ingredients delivered direct to the door by some of Kent’s finest producers and suppliers. It’s a flavour-packed way to enjoy the season at great value.

From Friday 20th June to 12th September, the team is also hosting Smoked & Uncut Unplugged – a series of free, live acoustic music sessions on Friday evenings, 7–9pm. Expect relaxed summer vibes, wood-fired food, and local tipples as you kick back and enjoy music in the garden. No booking needed, just turn up early to grab a good table.

And for the big one: on Saturday 9th August, The Pig at Bridge Place throws its legendary Smoked & Uncut Garden Party, running from 12–8pm. Expect BBQs, beers and brilliant live music, including a set from The Blind Spots, an electrifying acoustic quartet fronted by the gravel-voiced Tommy Hare. Tickets are £30 for adults, £10 for children – and with a backdrop like this, it promises to be a highlight of the Kent summer.
