Walnut Tree Pub in Yalding

The former “little” Yeomans’ House, built in 1492, with a relatively new “large” extension which was added in 1512! Is full of quirky features, original beams, bow beams, log fires and wonky floors and walls. Even our lady ghost, Mrs W loves it so much, she’s stayed and hasn’t moved on!

The ambience is alive with autumnal décor and our friendly and helpful staff enjoy delivering smiles, efficient and friendly service. We work with great suppliers, local of course so all our produce is fresh and premium.

We have started to feature a selection of evenings for food and theatre.

Mondays = Two delicious homemade pies for £15

Thursdays = Fish & chips in beer batter for £8.50

Fridays = Steak night, choice of two Rumps, Ribeye, Fillets, with all the trimmings and a complimentary bottle of Manager’s choice wine starting at £35.

Comedy nights = third Tuesday of the month, 4 acts so two hours of laughter and fun.

Gin night feast = an event by Maidstone Distillery last week, banqueting table of 20 in the “large” extension. Menu to pair with the Gins and a cheeky dessert liquor surprise.

Wine nights = Again a banqueting style, food pairing event, New World vs Old World will be on the 23^rd November.

Music Nights = Every other Saturday, we keep the music to 50-00 era, lots of covers and great solo, duo artists.
