Meanwhile, the farm is greening up beautifully, with asparagus cut fresh every day and strawberries ripening nicely in the fields. If you're looking for a reason to visit, the "What's Growing" board in the shop keeps you up to date as the season builds. Spring doesn't get much better than this.
The Ide Hill Community Shop & Post Office with Cafe has just the thing for anyone with a soft spot for this corner of Kent. Kent Crisps have done it again - this time teaming up with Shepherd Neame and The Historic Dockyard Chatham to create something seriously good. Their new Beef Brisket & Stout flavour brings together slow-cooked beef brisket and Iron Wharf Stout for a crisp that's rich, savoury, and deeply satisfying. Three iconic Kent names in one bag? We're here for it.
At Little Big Flavour, we don’t chase heat for the sake of it. We care about balance — the sweetness of coconut, the warmth of roasted spices, the gentle tang of mustard seed or tamarind.
Every kit is blended so the flavours build slowly as you cook, just like they do in Sri Lankan home kitchens. It’s not about rushing to the finish line — it’s about enjoying what happens along the way, from the first sizzle in the pan to the last scoop of sauce.
Mr Ames Red Berry Tea is turning heads - even among those who think they don't like fruit teas. A vibrant blend of hibiscus, rosehip, apple, raspberry and citrus peel, it brews into something bright, aromatic and genuinely full of flavour. Naturally caffeine-free and free from added sugar, it works beautifully hot or cold - try it over ice as the warmer months arrive, with a little honey if you fancy it. Throughout May, enjoy 20% off all orders.
As days grow longer, Raspberry Fizz takes centre stage. Made from surplus British raspberries grown in North Kent, this vibrant sparkling drink transforms excess fruit into something joyful. Sweet but balanced, bright but refreshing, it’s a natural addition to picnics, garden lunches and sunny afternoons. Like its Rhubarb sibling, it was born from a commitment to reducing food waste and celebrating British produce. Sustainability never tasted so good.

Wooden Spoon's Wild Blueberries in Gin is the kind of thing that earns a permanent spot in your drinks cabinet. Handpicked wild blueberries, steeped slowly in quality gin, create a small-batch infusion that's rich, tangy, and full of botanical depth. Serve the gin over ice with tonic, use it as the base for something more considered, or let the berries themselves do the work as a garnish or dessert addition. Presented in a charming jar, it's as good to give as it is to keep.
